We had a fantastic new year staycation in this lovely hotel! The food was exceptional, with homemade jams and cakes for breakfast that were just awesome. We especially loved the extraordinary cuisine, which was a gastronomic treat. The location was superb, surrounded by tranquil countryside that made for a peaceful and relaxing break. The room was new and clean, and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

The lack of tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, which would have been nice. , it would have been helpful to know in advance that there was no shuttle or taxi service from the hotel to the town and train station.

The only downside of my stay was the language barrier when communicating with the staff, but we were able to overcome this with a bit of patience and effort on both sides. it would have been great to have tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, as well as a mini-fridge for storing cold drinks.
